Posted: 13 Sep 2014 06:19 PM PDT depends on the state. here in Hawaii on Oahu highways are usually empty Monday-Thursday at around 8-9pm to 5am. At 5am traffic starts to flood until 8pm again. On Friday and Saturday traffic is nonstop from 5/6am up to maybe 10pm. most people will go out on these days but it's usually to huge events that bring in crowds by the hundreds. so they come and go as a group. Sundays are basically dead for the most part. lots of traffic during the day time no matter what day it is though. lots of bad drivers here they are slow and leave huge unnecessary gaps and theirs always some sort of accident on the freeway. Occasionally when they do construction work on the freeway they block an entire road even if they are not working on it. pretty stupid but thats because of the heavy traffic we get otherwise people will just keep using it and back up the construction work. |
Question: Help with these Lab Safety questions? Posted: 13 Sep 2014 03:03 PM PDT 1. What are the proper steps for lighting a gas burner? 2. What is the proper technique for heating chemicals in a test tube? 3. Can an alcohol fire be put out with water? 4. If a person's clothing has caught fire, should a fire extinguisher be used to put it out? If not, what should be used? 5. what is it important to clean up after you r lab work is done? |
Question: I have 16 inch tires on my tuck can i put 17 inch tires nstead? Posted: 13 Sep 2014 09:24 AM PDT Yes, but you will need to fit slightly lower profile tires onto 17-inch wheels, to keep the outer diameter about the same. For example: 235/85R16 tires are the same diameter and width as 235/80R17, so will not alter your speedometer reading. Don't go too wide with the 17-inch tires or they will scrape the bodywork or suspension parts, give your truck a harsh ride, and worsen the gas mileage. Source(s): |
Question: Will T-rated tires invalidate my insurance claim if someting happened? Posted: 13 Sep 2014 08:15 AM PDT It should not be an issue unless you report a claim due to a tire blow out because of improper speed rating. My car is rated to go 140mph, but during the winter I put on snow tires(non performance) that only handle like 98mph. I didn't tell the insurance company because I don't plan on going over 98mph in the snow. |
