Question: Who's fault in this car accident? (please read details)? Posted: 24 Sep 2014 02:32 AM PDT a friend of mine did a car accident few days ago. it was a rear-end collision. he came from the back the other car was broken for un-known reason. the appearent reason at the time of the accident was the front car was out of oil. which is a direct indication of driver negligence even though he was hit from behind by my friend. the front car driver claimed he put the car on flashing lights. and was trying to pull over to the left side -not the right side- . and claims that my friend didn't use brakes my friend claims that he was not a leading car, and when he first saw the front car he didn't have enough distance so even though he used the brakes he hit the front car severely .. and this is confirmed by the front car driver that my friend was not a leading car behind him, however he think that my friend still did have enough space to avoid him. - we are not from north America. and in my place we don't have clear rules about car accidents. so the issue is solved domestically. -unfortunately- I have a doubt that my friend did fall asleep seconds before the accident. as when I talk with him he says he cannot remember how it happened. but I m not sure. as I know he might have a slight memory loss due to the accident emotional shock . btw my friend stayed at hospital for about 5 days to recover from a sever knee injury . he is on physiotherapy for the coming 2-3 weeks. the front car driver is fine and went home in the day of the accident. what do u think? |
Posted: 23 Sep 2014 11:24 PM PDT When pulling out and making a left turn onto a four lane (two lanes each side) road and there's cars coming from the right lane...? Can you pull out and stay in the left lane or is it better to just wait until everything is clear? My wife has the habit of doing this because she's so impatient and we almost got into an accident today leaving a McDonald's. |

Question: My brakes squeak when stopping and the car drifts to the right when casually driving...? Posted: 23 Sep 2014 07:02 AM PDT You need new brakes and you either have a bad wheel alignment or a bad tie rod. Brakes are obvious. My car used to swirve and be unsteady because it had a bent tie rod and the wheel alignment was off. If your car doesn't feel like it's "loose" when driving above 20mph, it's probably just the wheel alignment. |
