Question: M3 competition package vs Base? Posted: 26 Sep 2014 06:46 AM PDT The M3 Coupé (e92) no longer exists to buy new it is now the M4. The carbon roof is standard on the M3 and the only way to make a non M3 look like it is by using a vinyl wrap. As for the other parts you will have to find them from elsewhere as BMW will not sell them for a standard M3. They are not allowed to sell M division parts like that. |
Question: Is it okay to buy a Muscle car as your first car? Or would something else be recommended? Posted: 25 Sep 2014 11:05 PM PDT I'd say not RIGHT away. Chances are, you'll get in at least a small fender bender at some point, so why wreck an expensive car. If you drive to school, you will pay at least 20 dollars in gas, your insurence will be at least 1500, your tires will probably be at least 130 a piece (if your anything like me, you'll light them up every once in a while). Having a repair bill on top would suck. Not discouraging you, but figured I'd throw some numbers. I'd suggest starting on an 80's camaro. They're a dime a dozen. Drive one (or beat one around, lol) of those for a couple months, sell it, and get the charger. If you can swing it, go for it. If i didn't own a landscaping business in highschool, I would have had a chevelle. Just make sure your still putting money in the bank while making payments. Nothing sux more than having a bill you can't pay or not being able to pay for gas on a "rainy day". |
