So i had to make a mousetrap car for a physics project that went at least 10 meters, and I built one that went about 13 meters:)

Now I have to make a braking system that stops at exactly 8 meters from the starting line and the braking system must be a system that can determine when the car has gone 8 meters.

The directions also state that it has to be an independent braking system from the drive system.

I have 8 meter string, but I have no idea on what to do, even though I tried all day yesterday:(

can someone please help?

You get a ticket since you are driving without a license of the correct class. Now do you think the nice officer will just ask you to sign the ticket promising to appear, and let you drive off illegally?

You get to sit in the nice police car and watch while the two truck impounds your vehicle.

If you are lucky he will take you to the station where you call someone to come get you. If you happen to be o18 or older and not lucky, you are told to move on and you walk home.

Of course you can avoid that by having a licensed driver with you as required.
