Posted: 26 Sep 2014 03:15 PM PDT I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I've owned this Jeep for about 2 years and have had a problem with it idling poorly.? Sometimes when my Jeep idles or also when I have to slow down rapidly, my vehicle shakes. Sometimes when idling at a stop, it while shake enough to stall out. Oddly enough though, if it starts to shake and I put it in neutral or park, it will stop shaking. |
Posted: 26 Sep 2014 02:46 PM PDT The only time a manual car is faster is initially from a standing start, if you are comparing 2 low powered cars. The manual driver will be able to rev it up and drop the clutch and the momentum of the highly revving motor will launch it quicker. Once under way , the automatic will shift quicker. And if you are dealing with high powered cars, then there is no advantage unless you have the traction to match it. In virtually every situation, the automatic is better (just not as much frustration or fun) |

Posted: 26 Sep 2014 01:40 PM PDT I also have a 2004 CV, a P71. Your headlight switch assembly is faulty, this is common in these cars. I had to change mine recently as well. You've posted this in the "Jeep" category. |
Question: Anyone know of a car breakers selling a mazda b2500 interior door panel? Posted: 26 Sep 2014 01:39 PM PDT Are we supposed to guess where you live? You own a phone? Your best bet would be to start calling some auto wreckers. Most these days have a national parts locator hotline. |
