Question: Stolen iPhone located? Posted: 19 Sep 2014 04:53 PM PDT Stolen iPhone located? My iPhone 4s was stolen a while ago, but it was broken at the time due to water damage. It managed to connect to wifi recently, which sent me an alert from FindMyiPhone, giving me an exact address of where it is, a two hour drive from where I am. What is the next step? I can't be certain it will connect to wifi again bc it basically worked when it felt like it, so the longer I wait, the more likely it is somewhere else. Going there myself seems like a waste of 4 hours, but I feel like the police will be busy with matters that are quite frankly more important. Any suggestions welcome, thanks!!! |
Posted: 19 Sep 2014 04:48 PM PDT The fluid change is generally believed to be safer, on the basis that forcing a whole bunch of new fluid into the box at high speed will reportedly loosen up all manner of horrible stuff which will then clog up the works. I don't have any personal issues with the flush, but then I've been dealing with it for a long time and I change out ATF on a regular basis. If this is your first change ever, I suggest you don't flush it. |

Question: Car shuts off whenever steering wheel turns? Posted: 19 Sep 2014 04:34 PM PDT Car shuts off whenever steering wheel turns? Hi, I have a Pontiac grand am 2004. Everytime I turn the steering wheel the car shuts off. My electrical wires are bad and need to be repaired, the back of the steering wheel ( the square back of it ) I don't know what it's called, but smoke comes out of it. And I'm not sure if that's what's causing this problem. I need to know asap. thank you so much |
Posted: 19 Sep 2014 04:30 PM PDT So if I remember correctly, I probably filled my antifreeze container a bit too much this past time. Here's the story though: I went to have the deq checked, my 1992 Jeep Cherokee passed. While I was waiting to leave, there was a car in front of me, and so I was idling for a minute or two. Then the car moves, I move, and drive home. After a little while I decide to go out to grab food. I start up fine and arrive at my destination without a hitch that I notice. Pick up me food, and see a huge puddle of antifreeze under the very front of my car. Also see it dripping. I drive home and park. Was able to start up just fine, again. Now there is just a tiny little splatter of a few drips, and I saw it actually drip down to the street just once. The level in the car of antifreeze is totally fine. Looks like it was just filled. Please help, and excuse my poor knowledge of car terms. Thank you!!!! |
Question: Safelite Auto Glads? Posted: 19 Sep 2014 03:38 PM PDT Safelite Auto Glads? Ok so im supposed to be getting my windshield repaired tomorrow. Problem is the crack that was smaller then a dollar bill (as the say) got bigger. Now i need to get it replaced. My question is will they have the windshield on hand anyways or will it take another week before they can do it? Basically im asking if they plan on repairing it and they show up and its worse than expected do they have that winshield with them anyways? |
