Question: Can u fall off riding as a passenger on motorcycle? Posted: 17 Sep 2014 10:20 PM PDT you can get a set of handles that fit around the rider to hang on to . if you were to look in a fecent dealer they might have some in stock . it might be wise to have a code for I don't like it . a decent punch in the kidneys usually works wonders . just start slowly and try to be at one with the bike . ask the rider whether they want you to put your feet down when you stop some do some don't |
Question: Can a dirtbike be legal street bike? Posted: 17 Sep 2014 09:11 PM PDT EPA -- there is a tag on a dirt bike that says it is off-road only. You will have to either replace the motor or modify it to meet smog emissions. Then you will try to work with the bureaucrats at the DMV to prove them that your bike meets Federal and State requirements -- and their joy is to stop you. Trust me, it is far easier to just buy a bike that is currently registered and plated. |
Question: Suzuki vs. Yamaha motorcycles, which is the better choice for me ? Posted: 17 Sep 2014 07:25 PM PDT Better choice would depend on what you want in a motorcycle. Suzuki does not have a motorcycle like the TW200. Yamaha has nothing like the TU250, |
Posted: 17 Sep 2014 06:15 PM PDT Fuel stabilizer won't hurt your motorcycle, but it is usually unnecessary if you are going to ride the bike in any given month. Fuel stabilizer is for longer periods of inactivity. Do be careful in cold weather. You have black ice to worry about, snow in corners, crap falling off cars, sand, salt, etc. The GSXR isn't a good choice for cold weather riding. |
Question: Why dont I have no power to my motorcycle headlight? Posted: 17 Sep 2014 04:52 PM PDT #1. The fuse has been vaporized. #2. The light switch or dimmer switch will not pass 12 volt power. #3. The light bulb element has been vaporized or has corroded terminals. To solve this problem: Attach a 'Hot' wire directly to your motorcycle positive (+) battery terminal. #1. Jumper the 'Hot wire' to the exposed checking post on the fuse. Will light illuminate? #2. That failing to illuminate bulb: Jumper 'Hot wire" to bulb: Knowing you have a working bulb and the bulb illuminates: attach 'Hot wire' to load side of switch: ...etc. etc. when you can jump on load side of problem and bulb illuminates but will not illuminate on power supply side of component you have located your 'fault'. Don't forget to remove the 'jumper wire' when you are done and burn your house down!!!!! Or even safer: buy a ground clip and stab light detector for $12 and save your house! |
