What does this mean "vehicle's status changed after the registration renewal notice was mailed to you." I'm freaking out!! Cause it won't let me renew my vehicle registration.. |
Posted: 13 Sep 2014 08:32 AM PDT Can my auto insurance company refuse to pay a claim when I was three weeks late making a premium payment? I was hallucinating from sleep deprivation on my way home from work one morning and hit a tree and totaled my minivan. I had full coverage but had forgotten to make a premium payment and was three weeks late. Subsequently, my insurance company said they don't have to pay the claim. Is this legal? |
Posted: 13 Sep 2014 08:29 AM PDT You're in NJ with a NJ permit and accompanied by an adult who is also a parent. So that should not be a problem, you could be living with mom in NJ and dad came to visit you. I doubt they would ask. Now, can you drive in NJ with a NY permit. It's a "yes. but" type answer. New Jersey: A student with a valid learner's permit from another state may legally drive in New Jersey provided the vehicle he is operating is properly titled, registered and insured in the home state. Further, the permit holder will be subject to the laws of his home state. It almost sounds like you have a permit in two states, which isn't legal if you do, decide where you live. Posted: 13 Sep 2014 07:34 AM PDT Most locations have a procedure to reinstate a suspended license. You didn't give your location. Common for all is to pay what you owe, get the receipt, go to the office that handles such things, show them, pay a fee to reinstate. |
Question: I'm about to do my Ontario G1 test? Posted: 13 Sep 2014 07:15 AM PDT I need to know if there is anything to prep for, the process, etc. I really want to pass this test! My parents refused to take me for a long time regardless of how much I bothered them, now this is the time to learn to drive. If I fail this test, do I have to book another appointment to do the test? If so, what the max day to wait until you do the test? (If there is one) |
Posted: 13 Sep 2014 07:11 AM PDT Do I have to take my written drivers test again at the DMV after i already took it in drivers education in school my sophomore year? I am 17 years old and a senior, I want to get my permit so I can start driving. I took my written knowledge drivers test in drivers education twice. The first time I failed. The second time I passed with an 80 on the dot, which was the lowest you could get to pass the test. This was toward the end of my sophomore year around June and we were provided with a card signed by my instructor (for proof I`m assuming), that we passed our written knowledge test, the card is supposed to expire around the end of June. I was told by my best friend that if I bring the card to the DMV I can redeem it for my permit, but I want to be sure that this information is valid. I live in New Jersey, Woodbridge, and was wondering if this is possible or if I would have to pay and retake the written again at the DMV, which I hear is much more challenging than the one I took in school 1 year and half ago. Please help |
