Question: My car got broken into a while ago? what are the odds of that happening again? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 04:59 PM PDT The odds of it happening again depends on where this car is parked. You say it was broken into. Did they steal anything? Why would they break in unless they saw something they wanted to steal or were trying to steal the car and failed? Just do not leave anything out in the open that will make someone want to break into your car. Park it in a lighted area where it is easily seen. As far as predicting if this will happen again, your guess is as good as anyone's. The odds are it will not happen again, but there is no guarantee. |
Question: How to spot an uncontrolled intersection? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 04:39 PM PDT How to spot an uncontrolled intersection? I have my road test in a month. And i have no problem parallel parking and y-turns etc. but the issue i have is with uncontrolled intersections in like a fancy neighborhood type of deal. Do slow down right before you come to the uncontrolled intersection or do you slow down way before that? I hope someone gets back to me and also maybe give me some tips and advice? Thanks. |
Question: Car got broken into a month ago? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 03:28 PM PDT Me and friends used to go "carhopping" which is breaking into cars and stealing stuff, we never ever hit the same car twice, that's just begging to be caught really, put the car in a well lit area with the doors locked. |
Question: What's a fast American car that can take the snowy roads with ease? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 01:58 PM PDT "Fast" implies rear wheel drive, although more exotic cars have good power and AWD. RWD means it will be bad in snow, no matter how good the driver is. I had a 300ZX when I moved t Flagstaff and within a year we traded it for a Prius, which was *much* faster in snow and ice. If you want "fast" on public roads you are probably not a good enough driver for slippery roads. |
Question: How much is a seat belt ticket in Newyork ?? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 12:38 PM PDT If I only knew as to this "Newyork" you ask about. Where on the planet is this is if you know where, how come you are not asking at the courthouse that has jurisdiction? Oh, since you do not know the laws and yet you drive, I would bet this is not the first citation nor shall be the last. The again, I bet the Civics class you took was not that important. What is important to you, Barbara? |
