| Posted: 06 Apr 2015 03:00 PM PDT Map / internet to get a general idea first. Then road signs usually have general directions. Turn off here to get to such and such town etc. If you know the 3 towns you have to go though to get to your destination, you only need to find your way to the next one. To find an exact address once you get to a town or suburb it's usually a matter of pulling over and calling up the map on the smart phone. It locates exactly where you are, and can plot a route to the address you entered. Old school, you use a paper map (they do still make those, or you can print it out first) Also, remember you parents are older and much more cunning than you. They have been navigating around the area for 20+ years. Towns don't move much. If you went there 10 years ago, it's probably still in the same place. |
