| Question: Cant I rent a car with a license that says "Restricted"? The restriction has expired.? Posted: 09 Apr 2015 09:15 AM PDT I'd suggest you go to the DMV before your business trip and get the restriction removed from your license. You will have your receipt showing you are licensed to drive and most importantly without restrictions, and I'm sure you can some picture ID to carry also, perhaps a passport. However, leave your girlfriend home, she is not an employee and should not be with you on a business trip. |

| Posted: 09 Apr 2015 08:02 AM PDT Go to your own insurance with that information and ask for their help getting the insurance company and policy. Then file with his insurance. If you are unable to get it through your insurance, Go to small claims court and file for the $900 plus court costs. I'd bet it will get settled before the court date when he sees your daughter is serious about being compensated for her loss. And tell her next time, if there is a next time, get insurance information and a police report. |
