Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:10 PM PDT All you report to the DMV is that the vehicle is now off the road and you want to cancel the registration etc. You do this so no one can buy it and drive it around still registered to you, collecting all sorts of parking fines and tolls. They don't care if it's because it's upside down in a ditch, or the engines blown, or it's got terminal rust, or been attacked by rampaging Wildebeests. All that's recorded is that the vehicle is no longer road registered, not any reason why. Or if they ask, tell them about the freak Wildebeest incident.... Then you can sell it as parts / scrap etc. The parts guy will want some paperwork so he can show he bought the wreck legally (it's not stolen etc)
Question: Best driving school in Pasadena area? Especially for road test (multiple if necessary!)? Posted: 06 Apr 2015 09:25 PM PDT So I'm looking at various driving/behind the wheel schools in the Pasadena, CA region. What I'm really looking for is a school that will actually get me to the DMV and let me use their car for the road test. And, though we don't like to think about failure... Any places that have a pricing plan that accounts for the possibility of multiple tries?

Question: Isn't it time for you to renew your drivers license ? Posted: 06 Apr 2015 08:59 PM PDT Each state, province, country may have slightly different rules for handling driver licenses and registration. You may need to check your local DMV for their requirements to be sure. Many require you to visit to update your photo. Some are permitting periodic renewal online/by mail, with every other time in person. Periodic or spot check eye exams may be performed for onsite visits along with proof of insurance.
