Question: Can 1 axle support the weight of a 3 axle trailer short term? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 12:04 PM PDT Can 1 axle support the weight of a 3 axle trailer short term? I was thinking about 3 axle trailers. When you drive that thing in uneven terrain, you would imagine some of the wheels coming off the ground at times. What if it happens to only support 1 axle while the other 2 axles are just hanging there. Would that break the axle or is there enough margin that 1 axle can still hold all the weight? |

Question: Should I use my phone as my GPS or get a GPS unit? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 11:37 AM PDT Should I use my phone as my GPS or get a GPS unit? I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I'm going to be buying my first car in the next month and wondering if I should use my phone as my GPS or get a GPS unit? Pros and Cons of each choice and what would you prefer? I would get a phone holder for my car. |
Question: Can an older 4wd frame be lowered? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 11:36 AM PDT Yes and no. Logically yes, physically no. You would have to stuff a 4WD front axle under the car, probably a Dana 30 or Dana 44, then you would need a Engine/Transmission that could except a 4WD Transfer-Case, plus the custom driveline, adapter, etc. |
