either one... but aluminum will oxidize when eposed to moisture and fiberglass will eventually deteriorate from UV and exposure to heat,especially if you live in hot dry hostile environment like Arizona. If it's an extension ladder the rope will eventually dry out or rot depending on what it's made of.

Question: Nuclear powered Navy ships have been around for a long time....but what powers the ships engines?...Steam?...?

The nuclear plant produces steam. This steam can be used to power steam turbines which are linked through a gear box to the propellers.
The steam could also be used to provide electricity as in a power station. The electricity then is used to drive an electric motor which turns the prop shaft and propeller.

evenrude outboard motor serial number?

I have a evenrude outboard with the numbers on the data plate reading 25202re 0006622. If anyone can help me with the year and model number that'd be great. I'm looking for parts.
