Question: Rav 4 front bumper part? Posted: 26 Oct 2014 04:42 PM PDT
I need some info on a Toyota rav4 2010 model..if you look at the front bumper, there are two small squares cut out of it. I need to know exactly what part sits inside of those cutouts. this is for a friend of mine who does mechanic work, were trying to find out if its a sensor or camera or what and I haven't been able to find any info online about it. thanks a lot if anyone's got some insight |
Question: Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T rough acceleration/idle? Posted: 26 Oct 2014 04:36 PM PDT Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T rough acceleration/idle? so i just bought a used 2001 modified jetta 1.8t wolfsberg off craigslist and its bogging and hesitating when accelerating and the check engine light is on. i went to get the codes checked out and the following codes poped up: P0340 and P0010 i believe both of these have to do with the cam locaiton sensor so i got that replaced but it didnt fix anything unfortunately. i remember the car was bogging when i first looked at the car and when i came back the second time before i bought it the problem was gone the guy said he replaced one of the ignition coil cause it was misfiring and it fixed the problem temporarily. i tryed replacing all the other coils and the car was running good but the engine light was still on and when i shut it off and came back to start it the problem was right back and now it wont leave. i took it to pepboys to see if they could identify the problem and they told me i need to go to a performance shop cause of all of my modifications. it has a bigger intercooler, forge wastegate, bigger turbo unknown model?,so far thats all i know thats been done to it.. could it be that the car just needs to be tuned cause of the modifications? im really confused as to whats causing this problem. any help from would be greatly appreciated thanks |

Question: White smoke coming out of an exhaust? Posted: 26 Oct 2014 04:29 PM PDT white smoke coming out of an exhaust? hello i got a 2008 BMW 335i and i have installed catless downpipes on it like a month ago. during that month while driving and coming to a stop i had bunch of white smoke come out of my exhaust for few seconds and then it stopped. it only happened when i fully came to a stop, not during driving and it only happened to me twice in past month. i did check my coolant level and it does look normal so i highly doubt its my coolant burning. the smoke didn't really have a strong smell. when i got out of car and checked my exhaust i did have some water inside my tips. could this just be condensation burning? |
