I planed to buy used car, Which year is better for economic value like depreciation? and which brand is more holding value BMW or Mercedes?

Ok so my dad and uncle used to have a Turbografx 16 gaming console with TV Sports Basketball and I thought it would be cool to get one for us three to share by Christmas. The total is under $180. I'm 13. Suggestions? And quick!

It might not be a big deal to you if you're a car enthusiast like me, but my friend has a VW GTI, and I'm looking into one as well.. Do you think he'd be mad or upset if we got the same car. It's literally the same. Same color, trim.. Everything.

This may sound stupid, but:
1. Check gas
2. Spark plugs
3. Oil/filter of any kind
4. Fuel pump/lines
5. Transmission and power steering

I'm still Learning a little bit about cars, but better than nothing.

Okay, so i want to trade my car in that is worth around 16,500 that i owe about 17,000 on for a lease? how would this work? estimated lease is around 420. would i be paying more? and what would happen to my loan?
