Question: One more year until I drive!! Help? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 05:46 PM PDT you should start saving any money you can now for when the time comes to get a vehicle...............you will need to save for: purchase price, insurance, repairs, fuel, emergency repairs, etc, etc..........if you wait til you are of age, you may not have the $$$ |
Question: What's the best route to take in Houston during rush hour? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 12:32 PM PDT That is a very bad idea. With no traffic at all it will take you an hour to drive from IAH to Hobby. Your plane may land at 5:30 but it may take up to 10 or 15 min just to get off the plane. Then you have to walk to your car or taxi. If you have to wait for luggage then add another 30 min. Once you get to Hobby you will have to go through security line and find your gate. It is just impossible to do all that in two hours. The route with least traffic will be Hardy toll road from IAH to 610. Then take the 610 loop around the east side of town to I45 south of town and then down to Hobby. |
Question: Why do people ride there Bicycles on the street? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 07:12 AM PDT Why do people ride there Bicycles on the street? It is very distracting when I have to change a lane, to accommodate their needs. Seriously, I live in miami and the traffic here is horrible, and on top of that I have to worry, about some random guy in front of me with a bike, making traffic horrible. Streets are for cars not bicycles, that is why you have a sidewalk. |
Question: One hour drive to college doable? Posted: 29 Oct 2014 12:08 PM PDT commuting is a dumb idea. This drive is AT LEAST 2 hours round trip. These 2 hours could be spent working or studying. Gas will cost you around 450 a month. So it would be cheaper to actually rent. |
