Question: If you lived in a private railroad coach where is a spectacular but disused RR spur that probably could be purchased?

They are all over America.
But what is your question?
Could I do target practice or urinate out the back door?
Where would I house and how would I feed and provide entertainment for the support staff?
How would I fuel the engine?

You have failed to ask a full question. You only set the stage.

Question: It it possible to build a Maglev train that can go as fast as a jet airliner?

Posted: 17 Oct 2014 12:03 AM PDT

Current fastest Maglev train has reached 361 mph. Not quite as fast as a jet airliner, but not so far off either. Compare that to an airliner that might cruise at 560 mph.

So not as fast, but there is no laws of physics that would prevent a maglev train from actually reaching that speed.
