Question: Will BNSF hire someone with an irregular heart beat? Posted: 24 Oct 2014 08:43 AM PDT Will BNSF hire someone with an irregular heart beat? About five years ago I was diagnosed with an acute paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. The symptoms only manifested perhaps a few times per year and at the time and were deemed non life threatening and medication was not recommended. I was significantly overweight as well and have since lost 50 lbs and have not experienced noticeable symptoms for several years. As part of receiving a conditional job offer from BNSF, I filled out the medical questionnaire honestly listing the event on it. The nurses have requested that I see a physician and have it checked out again. In the event that they were to find a continued irregularity in my heart beat, would that be a disqualifying factor? |

Posted: 24 Oct 2014 02:00 AM PDT How long is the stop in Chicago when riding a train from New York to Los Angeles? I have done some research on it. So far I know it'll take 3 days, one stop, and different places you can be on the train. I was wondering really, how long is the stop in Chicago(the only stop) between New York an Los Angeles? |

So, I'm thinking of applying with them, preferably as a conductor! I had a few questions; 1. Pay? Is it as good as BNSF 2. As far as hotel accomodations, how does that work? ...show more |
