Question: One dead cylinder?

One dead cylinder?

I have one dead cylinder on my bike. It's really dumb. The other three are fine. It's got really good compression. The timing is good. It has spark, really good spark in fact. It not only gets fuel, the condition doesn't improve with a shot of ether in the carb on that cylinder. There's no fuel filter. The air filters are off so that's not the problem. No obstructions in the header. I just went through the carbs, entirely. Not a spec of dirt to be found. These are aftermarket carbs but even with the stock carbs that are also clean as can be, this cylinder didn't fire. I can see the valves open and close with the plug out so they're not sticking. My next step is to swap the coils around and see if the problem follows the coil or stays with the cylinder. If it stays with the cylinder, what the hell else could it be?

Question: Yz250f Question?

Yz250f Question?

I am thinking about trading my quad (yfz450) for a bike (yz250f). Is that a good idea? Seems like a bike would be more fun. I'm am pretty short though at 5'8" and 130lbs, and I am worried a yz250f would be too tall. Is that true? I have heard that you can just soften suspension to lower seat height. What do you guys think?

Question: Does anyone know where i coulld buy foot rest for a rear rider on a 4 wheeler?

Most 4 wheelers aren't designed to carry a passenger, so if it didn't come with a foot rest for a passenger, there isn't one available.

Question: How do you refill reserve on dirtbike?

Posted: 24 Oct 2014 02:16 PM PDT

There is a round cap located on the top of your tank, open it.
Look down into the hole with a flashlight (move the light sided to side and no smoking).
At the bottom of your tank are TWO hoses, one sits a little higher in the tank than the other, that lower one is operated by a valve called a petcock which you have already used, it's marked R on the petcock maybe or is in that position with the turn-knob pointing up, Reserve.
Don't leave home while on it unless on the way to a fuel station.

Turned that knob a few times, pushed my bike home only once.
