Question: What would be a good first car for around $15,000?

What would you consider to be a good first car for $10,000-$15,000 (give or take a few thousand)? I will be turning 16 soon, and my Dad an I are looking for a reliable and safe car with good mileage. We would like a manual transmission vehicle, but we would also use an automatic vehicle (as it is hard to find a newer manual transmission car that isn't already modified). We would prefer that the car's brand is a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Audi (for an a3) or Mazda. Although we are not dead set on these brands (if there is a car from a different brand that I didn't list, we might consider it anyways), we would prefer these car brands.

The car will be used as a daily driver by my Dad (until I get my license), and once I get my license I will use it as a daily driver. We have been looking at sedans, coupes, civics, and SUVs (small ones), but we are not dead set on any type. We don't have too much of a preference on the space for cargo, but we would like it to have at least enough to carry groceries, a semi-large instrument, and a backpack (in other words, a vehicle that doesn't have an extremely small trunk and less than 4 seats would be fine).

Here is the list of cars that we are thinking of :
-Audi a3 (not a sport model)
-Toyota Highlander
-Honda Civic/Coupe (also not a sport model)

Sorry if you're seeing this question multiple times, I am having are hard time figuring out the layout.

Question: Would you buy your teen a new or used car for their first vehicle? Why?

Used. I don't want to deal with a car payment. Besides, they don't need a new one, especially if they might damage it like I might have when I was young. I don't want to spoil them either.

Question: What is a good first car.?

My first car is a 2000 Impala 3.8. It's got a lot of power, and it's also really comfortable and safe and gets great fuel economy. Anything safe durable and comfortable would be great. Old trucks and police cars are great to bang around, but they don't get good fuel economy, or you could get a smaller car that uses less fuel like a geo, a probe, or a focus. If you want a long lasting car, Toyotas and Hondas are famous for lasting forever with few repairs. Find your top priorities and figure out how much you can pay, and use that information to search for a car. Try craigslist, ebay, and the cheapest used car lots around.

Question: Where to find interior parts for a 1979 camaro?

Where to find interior parts for a 1979 camaro?

So I'm about to get this 1979 camaro. It's a really nice car that drives well.. But the interior is shot, there's no way of just fixing it up. It needs to be completely redone. But I can't find some of the stuff I'm looking for. Cause it needs all new panels (like all panels, not just the doors), seats, electrical, headliner, carpet, and sound.. I haven't been able to find most of it so if you know a site that's easy to use and has most of this, a link would be appreciated but a name is just as good.
