Question: 2004 Kia Sedona cut off and water was coming out of the water reservoir tank.?

I hate to say it, but you should of had somebody look at it first. Nobody should buy a 10 year old car that has been sitting around for a year without an inspection. Especially without checking the coolant ph level. The fact it was sitting with water for a year is HORRIBLE.

If the oil light was on and it had plenty of oil, then either the pressure sensor is bad or the pump is bad and not providing enough oil pressure. If water is coming out of the reservoir that leads me to think it was overheating. Plus, you NEED COOLANT to raise the boiling point. Water boils too easily to be used straight. And unless if was distilled water, it will leave mineral deposits. Worse part is, if it was sitting a year with water, internal components will rust and corrode, The ph level of the coolant is supposed to keep it from eating away at your car.

In my opinion, you likely have a leaking head gasket with your oil and coolant mixing. It would explain the oil pressure problem as well. You bought a lemon from somebody who knew they were hosing you over.
