Posted: 18 Oct 2014 04:21 PM PDT Most engines are produced for a NUMBER of years, and the casting numbers will tell you which period yours was used in. Some GM engines also have a code # stamped on the block that can give more detailed info, sometimes even what year car it was used in.  |
