What's wrong with my car? Gas smell, engine having trouble turning over...?

Hi everyone. Today when I got home from running errands, I parked my car. Everything was fine and dandy. Later, when I went to leave for work, I turned the key to my car and the engine had trouble starting up but it did start. I thought that was strange, but dismissed it. As I began driving the 20 minute drive to work, I noticed the smell of gasoline. I arrived at work. When I got back in my car to go home, the engine wouldn't start on the first try. It did afterwards, but the smell of gas was terrible! I brought it to a meineke and the guy told me I need to bring it in tomorrow so he can take apart the gas tank, which will cost $200 for labor...That's crazy considering I'm looking at an already expensive repair! Anyone know what this might be? Possible fuel line leak? There are no fluids under my car currently. Thanks!

Question: 2005 kia spectra engine noise and vibration.?

Posted: 17 Oct 2014 04:15 PM PDT

Have a 2005 kia with 96k miles with the 2.0 manual trans . Car vibrates . Mostly noticeable at idle. There is also a noise coming from the passenger side of the engine . The power steering pump, alternator, and ac are located on this side.

The noise does have a repetitive nature to it. As if it's belt or pulley related. It's not a squealing noise more like a deeper popping sound.

The ac light in the car will shut off by its self and I have to manually turn the ac back on again. Not sure if this is related or not.

No engine lights are on. Oil level is good.
