I don't see a case there. The excessive lane change was fairly weak and a warning was proper, but the unsafe start has enough behind it to stick. I understand you were late for class but once we get on the road safety is the prime directive.

The code itself (California, of course) reads "No person shall start a vehicle stopped, standing, or parked on a highway, nor shall any person back a vehicle on a highway until such movement can be made with reasonable safety." Unless you can make a case that getting around the traffic by quickly switching to the left lane was as safe as just falling in behind them, watching for an opening, and then passing, the judge is not going to be sympathetic. The loud exhaust just focused the officer's attention on you (it was for getting attention, right?) and the ticket was for what he saw then.

If you are eligible for traffic school, go for it. If nothing else it is a chance to see how the law thinks, so to speak.

I recently moved to Arizona, is it possible that i can take the driven test in Arizona? Or would i have to take written test again and wait 6 months?

what happens when you start your car when it's already running?

This isn't the first time it had happened...I would say I've done this 4-5 time in the past 7 months I've had this car, sadly. I know doing it once or twice won't really damage anything, but is doing it 4-5 time a lot? How do I know if it's damaged? Thanks.

Why am I so jealous of people with nice cars?

Especially the people who I feel like didn't truly work hard for the car, people who do work hard this question isn't about them. And for some reason I've been obsessed with fancy cars lately. I have a very old car but it's a good car,but whenever I see people in my low income neighborhood with 60k cars I get really angry and jealous. I dont know their story but come on let's be realistic here.
