Tools, I don't suppose anything special over regular diesels. Good lights, maybe.
I don't know much about diesels, or larger boats, but smaller ones there tends to be not a lot of space to work and you can't just put the thing up on a hoist to get at the underside. There's also probably more corrosion so maybe things like nut splitters and stud removal/replacement tools.
