Question: What makes Rafale the best fighter jet in the world? Posted: 21 Nov 2015 12:51 AM PST It is stealthy but it is way cheaper than the F-22 It has two engines while the F-35 has only one engine It has IRST it has more advantages than the F-15 or the F-16. And of course... Rafale is European.... U know all the good European products like Mercedes, Fererri, BMW, Louis Vuitton and Channel. And of course it is defending the freedom and democracy. |
Question: I want to get a hover board for christmas but dont want other people to use it? Posted: 20 Nov 2015 10:41 PM PST Need a lockable chest to put stuff in. Think wooden box, with a decent padlock and hasp on it. Put anything that you don't want messed with in there, and lock it up. A bit of DIY and hardware store supplies will get you a foot locker or "pirate chest" that will prevent casual kids from getting into it. If they bust it open, then you have fair grounds to "unleash hell" on them. Let them try it out when you are there to supervise things. |

Question: I can't be a pilot, my dream job, what can I do that pays? Posted: 20 Nov 2015 08:35 PM PST I can't be a pilot, I've always wanted to be one and now I'm stuck searching for alternatives. I try not to fly because I get headaches while ascending, and especially terrible headaches (worst pain I have ever felt) from the descent, which usually lasts for dozens of minutes... I wanted to be a pilot my whole life, now I was thinking air traffic controller but It's very hard to get into, not many openings. Next best thing would be ramp rat (the people that hold the light sticks, load luggage, clean planes between flights) but I'm worried it won't pay a good salary despite being a cool job. I am interested in anything in an airport or plane environment, too bad because of my headache thing I can't be a pilot - if I had that fixed I'd just be a pilot no problem. |
Posted: 20 Nov 2015 01:12 PM PST The Fairchild/Swearington Metroliner and the big BAe Jetstreams also went out of production at about the same time due to limited demand for that style and size of aircraft. Most commuter airlines these days are going to 50 seat commuter jets like the Canadair CRJ or the Embraer E-Jets. They can stuff more people into fewer flights and make more profit on each passenger. With proper maintenance, the most recent versions of the Beech 1900 should be able to remain in service for another 10-15 or even 20 years. I'm certain that IF there is a big enough demand for another 20 passenger turboprop airplane, SOMEONE will build one to fill the demand. |
Question: Can you buy these devices for hot air balloons? Posted: 20 Nov 2015 10:27 AM PST Considering that a balloon simply moves with the wind, even a smartphone GPS will tell you which way you are going and how fast. A knowledge of Coriolis effect and the ability to read an aviation weather forecast will tell you what the wind is likely to do and an altimeter will tell you high high you are. Nothing magic about any of that |
