Get them NOW before the rush and the price goes up. Some reason you cannot take some main roads that are plowed ,salted and sanded? You are UNEMPLOYED. You found a job about 40 minutes to a hour away.it is better than what you have NOW. It does not matter how far your last job WAS you DO NOT work there anymore. You pay attention to the weather reports. You get an AAA or similar road assistance plan. . As you are on more isolated roads good idea to have some emergency supplies. You can buy a ready made kit or make one for yourself. Things like a shovel. The fold up one the army uses is good enough for snow. A blanket. A set of Warm clothes in case you need to walk (include BOOTS hats Gloves).. or do some road side repair like change a tire.A SIMPLE toolbox Jumper Cables. Get LONG ONES.Sand/Kitty Litter for traction. Many Online guides for what to have in your emergency kit. You learn ALTERNATE routes not just the shortest or fastest way.Accidents and road blockage happens. Plan on extra time in Winter Leave early and have breakfast near work if that helps. Many go much further Daily for work. Many also work closer to home. You take the job. You can still look for something closer and better for you. Use the time and listen to books on tape. |
