Question: Rental Car Freak Out... Need Help ASAP? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 02:23 AM PST Your friends mom is an idiot. Rental car agreements are specific on who can drive it, and friends mom is shown as the driver on this rental. If stopped by police, then police will see this ladies name on the contract, not yours. But, that is not the major problem, is, if, you have an accident in this rental. If so, then this lady would be on the hook for any damages, since only the person listed on the contract can drive, and even if she bought insurance, it would be void. Take it back and pay for the time used/held. |
