Cars & Transportation: Safety: “Question: What could these people be doing in the parking lot?” plus 5 more

Question: What could these people be doing in the parking lot?

Atleast 3 out of the 5 nights at about 6:30 pm there is 4 to 6 cars in the parking lot with there lights on, I never see anyone get out of there car. Then 10 minutes later they all leave at the same time.

What could they be doing?

Question: Should I be worried if I don't weigh enough for the airbag?

I doubt very much that this is due to your weight, or anything about you.

For safety reasons, if you carry an infant in a baby chair placed on the front passenger seat then the airbag MUST be turned off - because in the event of a crash, the airbag might kill the infant. For this reason, most (every?) car should have a switch somewhere that turns off the front passenger airbag.

Of course, this switch should only turn off the airbag when a baby chair is being used, and it must be turned on at all other times. However, it's probably easy to forget you've turned it off.

I think that you need to ask the driver about it next time you see the "airbag off" light. For your safety, the airbag should not be disabled when you're sitting in the passenger seat.

Question: Driving Question.?

The sign is a reminder; it doesn't matter whether it's there are not.

When there is a solid green circle light but not a green arrow and there is any oncoming traffic, you must wait and let it go first. This is true if there is a sign, and it is also true if there is no sign.

When there is a solid green circle light but not a green arrow and there is no oncoming traffic, you can go. This is true if there is a sign, and it is also true if there is no sign.

If there are no yellow, green, or red arrows, then you should be able to follow the light for any lane. They normally don't have separate solid lights for different lanes. If there are separate lights for vehicles that are next to each other, it's usually done as solid lights for vehicles going straight and arrows for turning vehicles.
