Question: 2006 Trailblazer no air from dash vents (even manually operating mode actuator)? Posted: 20 Nov 2015 04:00 PM PST So the HVAC control panel is the only thing you've replaced? Any code from the HVAC? Have you checked for power, ground and signal at the mode door actuator? You've done the re-calibration, you've manually checking the door: That's a good sign, the door is still intact..but have you done the "Hard" reset on the controller? If you have access to a scan tool (Preferable a Tech 2) then give me the code, the counts of the mode door (Closing and opening) If you've just replaced the mode door actuator and buy an after market actuator instead of the OEM unit (GM). This is what the problem created. The "knock-off" unit counts is always differ from the OEM unit and darn sure will affect the closing and opening of the mode door. I don't buy after market actuator anymore since 1995 after it burned "me" **** good for a couple of times. The mode door actuator is on the left side of the HVAC unit so you know how fun it was. I've included the 1st of 5 wiring diagrams for the system. You've not specified the system is Auto or Manual so I chose the automatic HVAC one. Any more question or need more helps: Liverhuyen2003@Yahoo.com Otherwise: Please close the post/ question. Thank you and happy Halloween. ![]() |
