Question: Driving theory test tomorrow, any tips? Posted: 09 Nov 2015 08:28 AM PST Only one tip: Hope you studied the handbook. All the questions on the written exam, every one of them, are taken directly from that book. If you read the book once, you've got a 50/50 chance. If you read it twice, your chances of passing are 70'30 or better. Three times or more, and you'll be insulted by how easy the exam is. If you only flipped through it and looked at the pictures, your odds are still one in three. If you didn't even open it, give yourself a 10% shot based on pure luck.

Question: Do you have to have insurance to get a Florida drivers license? Posted: 09 Nov 2015 07:00 AM PST Your mother is an idiot. The ONLY reason to have insurance would be if you own a car. Not everyone with a valid and current driver's license has a car. People with a license who don't own a car can still drive other people's cars, or rental cars, and the only time they'd have to pay for insurance would be as a part of a rental contract. If you don't have a car, you have NOTHING to insure.
Posted: 09 Nov 2015 05:51 AM PST Slow down here. You need to understand that bodily injury losses and property damage losses are two totally different things. Insurance companies know it, and you need to know it too. Property damage is easy to calculate. Whatever property of yours was damaged or destroyed, including your vehicle, that's how much you claim for compensation. But bodily injury gets complicated. Now you've got to calculate lost time at work (income replacement), medical bills, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, additional living expenses,.home / lifestyle modifications, pain management / psychological counselling, and a few dozen other things. If you don't have a personal injury lawyer, you need to hire one right away.
Posted: 09 Nov 2015 04:56 AM PST Do you want the insurance company to pay to fix your car? You decided not to get the additional coverage for loss of use. There are things other than just car rental that insurance might pay for. Bus/Taxi for example. Sorry just because you have you car at the repair shop or parked at home you do not get days off your insurance. You could cancel your policy and start a new one when repair is complete I doubt you would like the new rate after the accident.
