| Question: Help!! Trying to transport car, details below? Posted: 03 Nov 2015 07:41 AM PST They will give you a citation for not having it inspected/registered/insured, which can cause it to be towed, impounded. You would not be eligible to get it back until it was titled, insured and registered. You also cannot allow it to sit in front of the house, in the driveway. It must be behind the house, not visible from the street, or in the garage with the door closed, or slightly ajar for ventilation, while you're working on it. The police can issue citation if they can see that the registration is not current. A towing company or a friend can move it on a flatbed truck or trailer, you can buy/rent a trailer to move it (all 4 tires need to be elevated off the pavement). You can disassemble it and move it pieces at a time. |
| Question: Did anyone else fail their driving permit test the first time? Posted: 03 Nov 2015 06:32 AM PST Many people fail the first time. The cause is usually due to being unprepared, not studying the driver's handbook, or not using online practice tests to verify their knowledge, not being able to read and understand the questions or simply being in a hurry, and not paying attention. It is rarely because of trick questions, or the person taking the test being a dunce, goofball or just plain stupid. Being prepared and practicing is important. Read the driver's handbook, use practice tests, and plan to take the test again in a few weeks. |
