| Question: How much would property tax on a car/projected car maintenance cost? Posted: 06 Nov 2015 08:34 AM PST There's no such thing as property tax charged on a motor vehicle. There IS sales tax, and most jurisdictions use Blue Book value when determining the value of the car for sales tax purposes. Without knowing which country/province/state the car would be registered in, there is no way to be any more specific. Call your local DMV. |
| Posted: 06 Nov 2015 07:23 AM PST Yes, as soon as you pay off the title loan (not lawn) and have a clear title you will be free to do whatever you would like to do with vehicle. If you don't pay it off, you don't have clear title and can't sell or trade in what you don't own. |
| Question: Car Accident Question? Posted: 06 Nov 2015 06:47 AM PST Generally when you're merging, or at yield sign, you're coming into traffic. The people who are in the lane already have the right of way. Are you absolutely sure that the green arrow was for you, and that you didn't see it somewhere else? Police officers don't generally hand out tickets for a failure to yield, knowing that there is a controlled light. They probably were traveling not too far behind you and probably was able to see what was going on. The other girl's insurance company would also not be coming after you for damages to her vehicle if the police, or insurance company didn't deem that the damages were concurrent to the accident that happened. As for the insurance, it is your responsibility to know if there is any changes to the insurance plan. They usually would send out either an email or a letter, which may have been construded as junk email or went into your junk mail. Insurance companies generally won't just change or decide to alter policies without notification. There is a possibility that you may be covered under your current insurance, but you're going to need to check with this, as it depends on when you have signed the agreement. If it is after the accident, they may cover most of it, and you may have to be a deductible. Hope that this helps you.

| Posted: 06 Nov 2015 05:25 AM PST Only time the lien holder may be notified would be for a TITLE change. Registration does not touch nor involved the title, nor lender / lien holder. Therefore, no the lien holder would not be notified. The lien holder and insurance company should be notified every time your address changes, by you, directly. |
