Question: Can I swap the 2007 altima with I4 with a V6 engine? Posted: 12 Nov 2015 02:54 PM PST Is it in the realm possibility? Yes. Is it practical? Almost certainly not. There's a lot more to swapping an engine in a car for one that it was not designed to handle. You'll need a different transmission, engine mounts, wiring, ECU, ... the list goes on and on and on. If you are asking this question here, you probably know have the know-how required to do this job without some serious research. That's even assuming you are doing it yourself, it'll cost a LOT to have someone else do all of this for you. If you simply want the V6 in your car, it'll be much simpler and cheaper to just sell your car and buy one with the engine you want. |
