| Question: Is Texas a "two-license plate" state? Posted: 08 Nov 2015 07:41 AM PST Never been to texas. But if states require two, I cant imagine them selling you just one. If you are from out of state, texas cant ticket you if your state doesn't require one on the front. Look around, do most cars have two ? Then its probably the law. But they cant give tickets to out of state people that don't require 2 tags. My state doesn't require 2 and I don't think they would even sell me an extra one if I wanted it. (And I don't) |

| Question: What I get a ticket for doing this? Posted: 08 Nov 2015 06:50 AM PST As long as your car is legal in your state it will be legal to drive in another state. If you are really worried about it find the state statute that says you only need one and keep it in the car just in case you do get hassled, you can show them that info. If it was a neighboring state the would most likely know but being that they don't likely get a lot of Florida cars there so they may not know. Should not be a problem but if they did question it you could show them. |
