| Question: Is it okay to EVER leave a child/baby in the car? Posted: 06 Nov 2015 03:13 PM PST In the "Olden days" it was not a big deal, mainly because stealing children was not a thing,...heck, stealing a car was rarely contemplated. But this is the world of "Today" It is a big deal because children get stolen to be sold to childless couples............and cars get stolen just because they can either Joy ride in them or sell them cheap to an unscrupulous car lot or dude who changes the VIN number on the car for one he owns...but don't work anymore. Car is gone and untraceable. Kid is gone and renamed all legal like. And of course this is the ERA when everybody sticks their nose into other peoples business...such as leaving a kid in the car. They will call a cop so Fast your head will spin. Then Social services will take the kid away from you(a government body). and put in a Foster Home because you are not a good parent. Don't you read the newspapers or watch the News? 5 minutes turns out to be a few hours cause the store was having a Sale...which at this point you have forgotten about little Billy and are now going on a Wild shopping spree because you are the 10,000 customer to enter the store so what ever you can gather together in 1 hour and carry it to the front till, is YOURS FREE. Or you meet old friends from way back when and you start catching up on memories and rumors...over a coffee in the in store restaurant. Yeah, that can take just as long a time period. Getting gas, that is a quicky so OK as you do not want to hold up the line of other cars that want gas. You are forced to go at an efficient speed. Really depends on the reason to leave the car. You can figure that out. |
