Question: Upgrading the Exhaust system for my Celica...? Posted: 21 Nov 2015 05:00 PM PST I have a 1999 Toyota Celica GT model and was hoping to replace components of the exhaust to add a few horsepower and improve the sound of the vehicle. My question is this. "Do I have to upgrade the piping for the exhaust system in order to see a decrease in backpressure?" The reason i'm asking is because I planned on adding a 4-2-1 exhaust header as well as a new "High Flow" catalytic converter as well as a magnaflow muffler. All of the parts are being sold as (Bolt-On) so they connect to my existing exhaust pipes so I figured that I would have sufficient air flow on them. Why would they sell bolt ons if I had to upgrade the piping with it? I'd like to note none of these products are ebay or cheap parts, they are coming from andysautosports and are mostly magnaflow products. |

Posted: 21 Nov 2015 04:45 PM PST "it is not my battery" How do you know? If it makes no noise and you have headlights and radio and heater fan, then the voltage going to the starter solenoid is not getting there. Find a mechanic, you aren't going to be able to fix it. ![]() |
