Is it possible to just buy a 12" bazooka tube without buying the sub with it?

I'm curious as to if I could buy a 12" sub and then buy a bazooka tube to use as the "box" for my sub. I want more than the power that the 12" bazooka tube with the sub already installed will do. I can't figure out if I could just buy the tube or not. I would think it would be possible but can't figure out how to so im not sure.

Question: So i have 1 12' 2000watt Sony Xplode and a 2000 watt amp i need to know what would be the best settings for the AMP dials.?

The information provided tells us very little about what you're working with.
Sony doesn't have any subs capable of 2000w. That is a peak rating and means nothing at all.
I'm guessing the same is true on your amp. You also didn't mention the voice coil type (dual/single?) or its impedance (2/4?).
It is always best simply to provide the model numbers and we can find the necessary specs.
Also - gain setting is done according to the HU's signal strength. It generally has little to do with the subs being used.

Question: Why won't my amp work?

So I bought a truck, hooked my system up, and the amp won't come on? I ran my Red Power Wire from the Positive Post on the Battery and my Control Wire from the back of the Radio. My Ground is run to a bare spot on the body, (free of paint, primer, and debis), still nothing, I have checked the ground multiple times because that is a common cause for electrical problems, I have two 30A fuses in the back of the Amp that I checked and are good and my 80A Power Wire fuse is good, I read yesterday about a fuse in the bottom of the Amp under a cover that I have not checked yet and I thought possably that the control/remote wire came out of the back of the radio but I am hesitant to check there because the radio is a pain in the *** to get out, give me some feed back if you know anything about this sorta thing, thanks in advance for the answers

What is the best Speakers to go with a 1976 Ford car stereo?

I have a 1976 Ford Granada. The stereo is original. The speaker in the middle of the dash board still works and im not taking it out. I want to buy a set of speakers to put in the back cause there is none. I need to know a good brand of speakers that will go well with that old of a stereo. any suggestions?
