Question: What could cause a 2001 Ford Taurus started missing and skipping, and loss of power?

According to this, the last thing to do is replace the MAF and obviously that didn't solve the problem. The voltage and wiring should have been checked first. I'm thinking you really need to find a shop that has a clue.

Doesn't look like anything important, unless the wiring is near the maf sensor crap and something has damaged the bunch.

Cylinder misfire for one specific cylinder. Catalytic converter bad? Should be codes for that. Sorry to say, your mechanic is incompetent . Throwing parts at a problem rather than diagnosing is not the way to do things.
Specific things cause specific problems.

Question: BMW or MX5?

You won't find a MKI MX5 easy to drive around in either, they didn't have power steering.

SLK's are roomier, more comfortable and are more practical with a metal hood.

Question: 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, airbags or not?

1992 Nissan Pathfinder, airbags or not?

There isn't anywhere in the car that says "Airbags", not on the steering wheel, dashboard, deck, nothing. So I'm wondering if it has to say "airbags" to have them. There also isn't any, you know, indents or anything in the steering wheel or dashboard. How it usually looks when there's an airbag. So I'm ASSUMING there isn't because it just doesn't look like it. But is that possible? I kinda thought they were mandatory.
