Question: I accidentally switched into manual while driving. Is my new car okay?

That is what you get for messing around with an automatic transmission. I blew up an engine just like that. You are very lucky, you did little damage to your engine.

Question: Breaks went out, rolled my car in a field?

There are insurance scams out there and your story sounds suspicious to me.
For example: Why didn't you pull the hand brake on. Why didn't you park your car where it is more level and put rocks under the wheels? Why didn't you service the brake?
The insurance company will ask you all the questions and investigate on what just happened.

Last year, one guy crashed his new super car so, he can make money from the insurance company. He ended up in the jail.

Question: Does it matter who has the insurance on a financed vehicle?

Hello

Yes the Main driver (The one who will drive it most) of any car must by law be the Policy Holder and any body else must be added as Named Drivers, Check with Lease companies as most will only allow 1 Named Driver.

Question: Bought a car, lost title before registered, now what?!?

Bought a car, lost title before registered, now what?!?

I bought a vehicle awhile back and it needed some TLC before I got it on the road, it sat for months and I got it fixed but now I lost the title. I have reached the lady that sold me the car and she keeps saying she'll go to the BMV and then will ignore me for weeks. I do have a bill of sale though. What can I do?
