Question: What to do after minor car crash? Posted: 12 Oct 2014 08:56 PM PDT UK answer: Stop where it's safe to do so, check everyone's OK, exchange insurance details with anyone else involved and take photos of any damage (or lack of damage) as evidence (even if you don't intend to make a claim, another person involved might, so you need to cover yourself as much as possible). If someone has phoned the emergency services, you should wait for them to arrive (not usually necessary in minor collisions). Then if no one's hurt and it's safe to leave, you can. |
