Question: We have replaced the carb on our 1980 merc inboard and can't recall where the wires go? Posted: 30 Aug 2014 07:27 AM PDT There are only 2 wires to the carb (only on Mercarbs)- for the choke. Black goes to ground on the choke body, the purple goes to the spade connector on the choke insert. |
Question: What battery and items needed for two led bars 16 inch? Posted: 29 Aug 2014 07:14 AM PDT What you do not say is what if any electric system you already have on your boat. If you have the usual 12 volt system and your L.E.D. bars are rated for 12 volts then basically all you have to do is connect one end to the positive bus bar and the other to the negative. Of course running through a fuse and switch. If you do not have any electrics then either purchase a battery pack or a marine 12 volt battery and connect to the terminals, through a fuse and switch. |
Question: What is the step by step process of winterizing my 1979 35HP johnson outboard motor? Posted: 29 Aug 2014 07:14 AM PDT From the bottom up: Remove the propeller, inspect for fishing line etc on the shaft. Grease the shaft splines and replace the prop. |
