Question: Dirtbike help?

Dirtbike help?

Hello guys. I have a 2012 yamaha ttr125le . And basically I'm not planning to ride it for a week cause I'm gonna be busy, it doesn't have any gas in it and it's just gonna be sitting there. Is there anything I should do? Like I feel like after a week it won't start cause it's just been sitting there, I'm not a pro mechanic or anything so I don't know anything as I'm only 13 years old. It's a great bike and I wanna take amazing care of it.

Question: What motorcycle is this?

It's not a Harley. The engine looks like a Japanese bike. You can only see the valve covers and side cases and they are definitely not Harley. And it's got shaft drive, which Harley never used. It could be a Vulcan 1500/1600/1700 or a Suzuki Volusia or C109 or T109, or a Honda Shadow 1100 or a Yamaha Star. A few minutes with Google Images would pinpoint it.

The frame has been mangled to make it look like that. I do like the look, and I look at bikes like this at shows and stuff, but I would never ride a bike like that. It's more about getting attention than it is about motorcycling.

Question: What do guys think?

(I think that's Lady Gaga's Harley! 8^) ).

First of all, I think a girl on a bike is a good idea. Motorcycling is not about weight or strength, it's about balance and finesse, and women do that at least as well as a guy. Plus girls don't suffer from 'testosterone poisoning' like boys do. They exercise better judgement.

A 300 is not lame. If I went on a ride with a girl on a 300 I'd want to ride it myself, to see what it's like. And as you say, you gotta start somewhere. A lot of us started on scooters! So you're already ahead.

I have a good friend who's a woman who rides a big Harley Davidson. We have been riding together for years and years, and neither of us is dead yet. 8^)

As for moving up to a 600, well you could do that after you totally mastered the 300 (which is not that hard). But the kind of bike you want depends on the kind of riding you do. I think most people on 600cc supersports buy them for the look, not for the kind of riding they're made for. You know how most Hummers never go off road? It's like that. People just want the look. If it was me, I'd want something more general-purpose, like a Ninja 650 or Suzuki SV 650.

2012 Zx6r headlight assembly removel?

Hey, I dropped my parking light into the light housing of my bike and have no possible way to get it out without removing the whole assembly. What is the easiest way to remove the headlight assembly? Thanks
