Where can I find Toyota Electric Lithium Ion Batteries besides at the dealers?

Hi, I'm trying to find 2012-2014 Toyota Electric Batteries. The official ones I can find at Toyota dealerships but they are very expensive. I even tried looking into Toyota Parts salespeople around me, any hints and advice is welcome.

I have a 2002 VW GTI. The temp light says it is overheating, but the thermostat reads normal. New radiator shop says no leaks?

My mom had this exact car a couple years ago and I lover it. When I'm old enough (2 1/2 yrs) I want one. My mom always tended to be a lead foot and still is. She would always do 75-85 on the expressway and I enjoyed the high speed. When the tranny died on it I was crushed. We didn't have enough money at the time for a rebuilt one. So before we sold the car, she ripped the front logo off of it and it's now on the back of my phone case. I know that the GT and GTP s are faster, but I like THIS car, and please, no rude comments about the SE. I loved that car. She got It almost new in 2002. And I loved that car. It got me everywhere and I felt safe in to :) It's a year now that it's been sold almost and I still don't feel totally safe in our new car. (My grandma's 1998 Chevy Blazer LS) it's a lovely car, but it's just not the same. I'm sure some of you will understand.

If I swap my v6 out of my 81 el Camino for a v8 will I still be able to get smoged in California?

So I want to change the motor to a v8 a friend of my mine has lt1 and super 400 tranny.But he said He not sure if I will be able to get it smoged because the motor on the DMV paper worked would have to be the same.Is there any way I could do this maybe have a CHP inspection kinda like a slavage title...the lt1 will pass smog but we think because it's different to the paper workplease advice
