Question: What happens if you refused a pre-employment test but it was DOT regulated? and is it up to the company to report this or the u/a facility?

The DOT is regulated at a moderate way of making sure that all things that pertain to the job are being handled correctly. If your refusal was based on a good reason, for example, an emergency, illness, death, jury duty, etc. and you have proof of it, then it should be rescheduled. If the employer is in need of having the position filled at that time, they are also eligible to do so, yet you are still eligible to continue on with it in the event a position is open again. Passing on the facts is something the company can do if they are required to do so, with all the facts that pertain to you and the job position.

People above are 100% right, but i may add :

Sometimes you will hear CC, CCing, head CC, this is a bit different, it is the combustion chamber volume, generally you will see this only when you start looking at high perf parts.

Question: What is the difference between normal buses and low floor buses?

Posted: 28 Aug 2014 10:13 AM PDT

School buses are all normal buses and only special ed buses with wheelchair access and general ed do not.

In terms of transit buses, both, normal and low floor buses are accessible, but there are some differences between those types of buses.

Normal buses are so-called high-floor buses when passengers must step up into the bus when boarding or using the accessible lift. The wheelchair lift on normal "high-floor" buses can break down which would be unfortunate for those buses and wheelchair persons meaning that they have to wait even longer for the next one. Low-floor buses have ramps and riders enter the bus and ride at the same level of the curb, and the back part of some low-floor buses is higher if riders prefer to sit higher on a bus. Low-floor buses are easier to board compared to normal buses due to the lack of steps on a low-floor bus. Both are wheelchair accessible, but boarding on and exiting low-floor buses is more convenient, faster, and more efficient for wheelchair persons.

Question: My car is idling rough, check engine light is on, but it runs fine as long as driving above 5mph. Any ideas?

I check the specs and it says it has a turbo(charger). If it does, then this is the area I would suspect, with the info you have given.

Take the whole intake side, from the air filter box [look inside] to the where the piping goes into the turbo, plus the turbo itself for loose or coming apart. Check the air filter intake to make sure there are no nests inside of it. When a car sits a fair amount time, Pack Rats & birds tend to build nests in the air filter intake. Check for broken motor mounts & loose battery cable connections, while you are at it.
