Should I buy a used 2007 Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon?

So for the past week i've been looking to for full size SUVs and I came across the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon. I'm just wondering if they're reliable, if they're strong cars, and if it's okay if I purchase one with 92,000 miles?

Question: How to ask parents for a car?

Posted: 31 Aug 2014 09:17 PM PDT

Wow, nice price.

You should address all of the complaints that your parents might have.

1. You might get killed as an inexperienced driver

2. You might drink and drive because you are youthful and haven't experienced liquor as much as hardened drunks who are more able to wobble their cars down a lane in a zigzag fashion and blame the trees for hitting them.

3. You will be able to live a fuller life because it is easier to get to work and get to your girlfriend (soon your parents will hear the pitty pat of tiny feet running around their home, where your girlfriend will live with you.

Once you address their fears, they will say "hmm. . . I never thought of that" at which time you will realize that you shouldn't have mentioned any of that.

But, since the fears are now out in the open, you can begin to calm them down.

Assure them that you are not as young as you look. You are a responsible person who wants to buy a responsible car, not some muscle car that is flashy and fast.

Remind them that you are not the irresponsible youth that you were last week, and you've learned not to make the same mistakes twice. Your new mistakes will be innovative and original.

Question: Would I get approved for a car at 18 if?

Would I get approved for a car at 18 if?

I'm currently 17.6 years old and I've thought about purchasing a new car, something really cheap. Would I get approved for first time buyer if I were to put like $5,000 down on a $20,000 car? Without the need for a co-signer?
