Hello, got a 2008 chevy express 2500 cargo van...

the sliding side door has a broken lock and broken outer door handle (someone tried to break in)

I purchased the door handle, and will try to salvage the door lock, it fell into the sliding door...

MY QUESTION IS....when the slide doors opens, I tried to remove the door panel that's inside so I have access to the handle and see where the lock fell.

I cannot take the darn trim off, it has screws you can pop off, BUT the INNER door handle you grab to open the door is in the way.....so if you can take all screws off the panel it self, but the door handle inside, the actual inner handle is in the way,

I tried prying it off, pulling and pushing it will not pop off, I cant remove the darn trim because of the inner handle, to replace the outer door handle trim.

Any help would be sweet.. thank you

Update : I was given an offer yesterday for a 1992 Pontiac Trans Am. I'm just really confused as to if this car really is a Trans Am like he says. He's selling a car that his dad had before he passed away. He said all he knows about the car is that it's a Trans Am with a 350 throttle body and it's automatic. It's also a hard top car. I've never heard of a 350 throttle body in a car and I've never seen a hard top Trans Am.
Is this car more likely to have a 305? Is it even a trans am?

Well, first off, a bug is front wheel drive, so it will never be a drift car. Secondly, modifications will destroy the resale value of the car.

That being said, if you still want to proceed, check out some forums. I've seen a few bugs done up for rallys, so people do soup them up.

Update : I rebuilt my Jeep 4.0 1997 engine, and I'm not getting any spark at the coil, the sensors are all getting 5.0 volts, and intermittently, I am having the 15 amp power output fuse located on the inside passenger side fuse panel, blow, what do I check next? The book says nothing about any of the fuses in this area. What does the power output fuse do?
