Windproof something onto a motorcycle?

I'm making something for my friend's bike with pinwheels attached.
What is a cool way to keep them from flying off in the wind while she's driving down the highway?

Question: How to convince parents to let me get a dirt bike?

Posted: 22 Aug 2014 06:40 PM PDT

A dirtbike is much faster than a bicycle with a tiny motor added, so it is much easier to kill yourself with one.
You should know that, so should not even be asking that question as to why they don't want you to have one.
Helmet, pants, and boots will not prevent a broken neck, arm, leg or ribs.
The problem is you are not only talking about risking your life, but not even getting any gain out of it.
It is not like you are old enough for a driver's license that would allow you to actually do something useful with it. It is thousands of dollars just to risk your life for fun.
I am not sure what the best strategy would be, but I would bet you would be much more successful if you were trying to talk them into a quad. They are much safer. See if you can talk them into buying one with a blown engine, and doing an engine swap.

Question: 2001 Yamaha r6 Stator wires cut how do I wire?

2001 Yamaha r6 Stator wires cut how do I wire?

Purchased a wiring harness off ebay and the wires that connect to the stator are cut, as will as the ones running to my stator. The bike will not run without jumper cables hooked to the battery. The stator wires are all 3 white and not color coded, how to I tell to wire them correctly? Wiring diagram is useless for this cause there all the same color. Thanks.
