Mini Cooper dashboard symbol?

I looked in the manual & online, but I couldn't seem to find what the symbol means beside the average fuel consumption (33.7mph) means...

Question: Is it labor intensive to replace a catalytic converter in a 2003 vw bug?

Posted: 27 Aug 2014 03:52 PM PDT

DO NOT DO THIS unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you need it done! Most converter replacements are done for NOTHING! The VW/AUDI engines require ONLY certain oil types or things go CRAZY. NO VALVOLINE may be used EVER or OIL SPRAY JETS can clog up and same for timing chain tensioners and more! The only reason to replace one is if it fully OVERHEATED and the guts melted down leaving RATTLES to live with! This can ALSO be stopped with TITANIUM LONG THROUGH BOLTS! The REASON for a OVERHEATED CONVERTER is a bad AIR/FUEL MIXTURE and usually it is started with POOR oil choices FIRST! You CAN repair most converters ON THE CAR if they rattle! Take $20-40 to ANY OIL CHANGE CENTER and have the THROTTLE BODY and the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE cleaned up to showroom clean! I use AMSOIL POWER FOAM for this job! RUn TWO CANS of AMSOIL FOAM through the OIL FILL CAP as well to remove clogs in JETS and LIFTERS and OIL feeds, too! IF you are ONLY getting the CONVERTER trouble code FORGET REPLACEMENT ENTIRELY! The FACTORY one will last the life of the car if ONLY The right oils are used and ALL engines sensors remain SHOWROOM CLEAN! AMSOIL and GUMOUT will repair a CLOGGED UP converter easily! THese are NOT CAVALIERS or BUICKS here! MOBIL ON E0W_40 is ONE approved VW oil with the 502 and 505 ratings on it! DO NOT USE VALVOLINE IN THESE CARS EVER! GOOD LUCK!!

Question: 2002 Mazdaspeed Protege turbo lag?

Posted: 27 Aug 2014 03:45 PM PDT

When I start off in the morning it runs great and there's no lag but after running for a bit if I try to step on it and activate the turbo it hesitates greatly, almost like a bobbing motion in the car and then takeoff with boost
the car seems to run better at 1/2 throttle and if I really step on it, it seems to try to create a lot of boost but there's no speed, just the bobbing motion.

I read that it could be that the ecu programming could be too rich but how would I go about fixing that? Thanks.

Question: What is the best gas tank fix for a White Cherokee Jeep?

What is the best gas tank fix for a White Cherokee Jeep?

Ok, so my mom's White Cherokee Jeep has a gas tank problem where it is leaking and gas would run out, so my mom can't really go anywhere. She can't find where the leak is, so she would have to take it to a shop. I think it's a 1999 Jeep Cherokee SE. In conclusion, what is the best fix for this issue (if it can be cheap, that would be nice)? Thank You.
